Women aged 50–74 are invited to screen every two years.

Women in their 40s and over 75 are also welcome, but we recommend you speak with your doctor first.

Screening with BreastScreen NSW is for women with no symptoms. If you notice changes in your breasts, such as a lump, pain or nipple discharge, please see your doctor as soon as possible.
